After a long time keeping an eye on the net, I was lucky enough to buy a used Mamiya tilt/shift adapter from KEH in a great condition for my Mamiya RZ67 Pro IID. Then, it was the time to shop again for a Mamiya 180mm f/4.5 short barrel lens to mount on the adapter! Again KEH was the way to go however, I could find a new condition lens in a surprisingly great price! I cannot recommend more about that store. If you would like to buy some used photography equipments in great cosmetic and working condition, make sure you check them out before shopping somewhere else!
Back to the adaptor, I got the chance to give it a try today! First step, reading the user manual! There, it says that in order to get great result, use a 6×4.5 film back or a digital back with the camera, suggesting some vignetting if used with 6×7 film back! I did not want to ruin a whole roll of 120 film to find out whether the lens and adapter work or not! So, I grabbed my polaroid back, set up the camera on tripod and started fiddling with them! I did a full tilt and shift for the following shot,

I am sure that this adapter and lens combinations opens the door to some new adventures for me. I will report back of any further findings the soonest I play with it more.

please post any tight portraits or environmental portraits asap. Thinking of buying one but can’t find any images of portraiture using this adapter.
Hi Matthew, will do that once I get a change! I will be moving out of my current place next week so everything is quite on hold for the time being! Cheers 🙂
